About the First Lady

吉恩·卡拉汉 often represents Pacific publicly on behalf of the president, speaking regularly and working with students, 父母, prospective students, faculty and staff, community leaders, alumni and university supporters. 夫人. Callahan had a long career as a human resources executive for national consulting companies, health care firms and recruiting agencies in Washington, D.C., Phoenix and San Francisco. She grew up in Bucks County, Penn.,持有B.A. in psychology from Fairfield University.

In her first year, 夫人. Callahan partnered with university leaders on the renovation of Burns Tower, worked closely with 学生生活 to enliven Grace Covell Hall and add fun elements to the Lair and other areas in and around the DeRosa University Center. She also worked with Greek Life and other student leaders and has been a guest speaker for 职业服务 and the Eberhardt School of Business. 在COVID, when the public was barred from attending athletic competitions, she came out to support our student-athletes.

家庭

The Callahans met after college in Washington, D.C., and married in 1986. They live in the historic President's Residence on the Stockton campus and have two adult sons, 科迪和凯西, who live in Scottsdale, 亚利桑那州.

第一只狗

Cali joined the Pacific family as a puppy in early 2021. The playful and mischievous Golden Retriever loves her campus and her students. Cali can often be seen walking campus with the First Lady, greeting all her new friends.
